Overview

When a contractor sets out to negotiate a new contract with a hospital, they need to know a lot of information. Current contract boundaries, cost limits, how the hospital relates to the market, what other hospitals in the market are doing, potential opportunities; the list goes on.

At Cigna, that information is coming in from a lot of different sources and it used to be hard to consolidate the information. It was hard until the Provider Contract Strategy tool was built. PCS was built to make it easy for contractors to see everything Cigna knows, enabling them to go into contract negotiations fully equipped with all necessary information.
